Considerations
Internet:
WiFi is generally available in the rancho/restaurant, casitas, and pool areas. If the WiFi does not work in Nicasita or by the pool, please turn the WiFi on your device off and back on. You should not have to re-enter the password. Depending on your device, WiFi sometimes is available in the bungalows.
Smoking:
Please do not smoke indoors at Nicasita.
Tipping:
Receive great service from local staff or guides? We encourage a show of appreciation. Your tips make a tangible difference to them! For housekeeping, tips average $1-$2 per day of cleaning.
Booked a guide or service through our manager or concierge? Tip your guide or service provider directly at the end of your trip.
Checkout:
Checkout is at 10:00 a.m. on your departure day. We realize that many clients have afternoon or evening flights or plan to go to a hotel in Managua. We make every effort to accommodate these situations and allow clients to use their room until their departure time. However, if there is another group coming into your room on your departure day, we need clients to have their belongings out of the residence by 10:00 a.m. so we can get it ready for the next guests. We tremendously appreciate your understanding and help with this.
Conservation:
At Nicasita, we work with the local community, supporting an environmentally sound experience based on solid conservation practices. Please help us by turning off all the lights and the Air Conditioning when you leave the residence. This helps save energy not only for us but for the local Nicaraguan community.
Thank you for your considerations!
